The aim of the 3-day level 2 introductory/essentials course in 2D(dimensional) CAD (computer aided design) is to provide candidates with the skills, knowledge, and competency to use 2D/CAD software in a safe manner as per H&S/DSE regulations, become familiar with the CAD drawing environment, and through a series of demonstrations, and practical exercises.
Throughout the period of training one support is given to candidates when required to be able to create, manipulate, modify, and plot drawings as per ISO/ BS8888/ BS 3939 & BS 2917 drawing standards, and apply skills the learned to a range of industries such as engineering, design, and architecture.
