Off the Job Training is a mandatory part of the apprenticeship training that all apprentices must record 6 hours of off the job training per week throughout the duration of the apprenticeship and actively record their learning.
Off the job learning can include many types of learning such as;
- Workplace Shadowing
- Research on line learning or courses
- Training Courses
All learning must be evidenced via course registers, certification, training matrix to show evidence of the learning taking place. Apprentices should record all off the job through One File.
