Kathryn Kirby
Business HR Manager
Kathryn is our Business HR Manager who is responsible for the day to day running of the business. Kathryn works closely with Michelle and Colin to provide overall support in providing HR guidance and advice throughout the apprenticeship process from recruitment and enrolment to dealing with apprentice issues, end point assessment queries and submissions and closure of the apprenticeship process.
Kathryn provides guidance on Apprenticeships, Finance, Business and Employment functions to operational management and employees of businesses as well as providing business support to the Managing Director and Operations Manager.
Kathryn is an ex-Lakeside Apprentice and joined the Lakeside team in 1994 as a Business Administration apprentice prior to moving down to Waterside in 1996 to join the newly formed team as a Business Administrator. Kathryn started out in providing all round administration support to the technical team before specialising in Human Resources and providing support to the apprentice team. Kathryn has grown with the company firstly completing her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and NVQ Level 3 in Management to completing a Level 7 CIPD HR professional qualification and developed into the Business HR Manager.
